Meet Dr. Elizabeth Kellogg

Elizabeth M. Kellogg, DMD
Orthodontics is my passion, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of this profession. I really enjoy the combination of art and science, and I love creating beautiful smiles!
Education
- Associate of Science, Biology, Elgin Community College
- Bachelor of Science, Microbiology, University of Illinois
- Master of Science, Microbiology, Illinois State University
- Doctor of Dental Medicine, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
- Master of Science in Orthodontics, Mayo Graduate School
Continuing Education
My staff and I attend continuing education classes regularly in order to learn about the latest orthodontic methods and technologies. Specifically, I attend a monthly orthodontic study group, online courses and seminars, as well as orthodontic journal continuing education courses. These are in addition to formal courses that I attend in person. I regularly earn more than twice the number of continuing education hours required to be an orthodontist.
As a part of my continuing education, I am active in the following professional organizations:
- American Association of Orthodontics (AAO)
- Midwestern Society of Orthodontics
- Minnesota Association of Orthodontics
- Zumbro Valley Dental Society
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- World Federation of Orthodontics
- University Gold Orthodontic Study Club
In the Practice
After more than 20 years in practice, it is still always exciting to see the improvements from orthodontics. The results of both beautiful smiles and increased self confidence in my patients make my job truly meaningful. My patients arrive wanting to improve their appearance or dental health, and helping them attain their goal is always rewarding!
My staff is here to make your experience comfortable and fun! For your enjoyment, relaxation and comfort during appointments, we have a surround-sound theater room, children’s play area, coffee bar, and ongoing contests and drawings for prizes. We even have freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon! My team and I enjoy our work and are dedicated to improving patients’ lives.
Family and Community
I was raised in the Midwest, and have lived in Rochester for 20 years. I have three wonderful kids named William, Maggie and Rosie. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, cooking, volunteering, visual arts, and travel. I am engaged in our community with the American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Global Walk for Breast Cancer, Rochester Youth Soccer and Baseball, Rochester Dance Company, Junior Achievement, Girl Scouts Career Day, National Public Radio, Rochester Women's Shelter, Good Samaritan Dental Clinic, and Habitat for Humanity. We also support the community Youth Mentorship Program and regularly host students from the high school Gifted and Talented programs.
